I forgot what a reet royal pain they are 😄 Perry Miniatures plastics, from a planned unit of 36. Vive L'Empereur !
I started my Plancenoit Project with a Brigade of Young Guard and they were like putting some old slippers on as they were Elite Miniatures, now I've started on Lobaus Corp I think I'll put back the game for another 5 years 😆
With the first unit I've gone for a more parade ground look and also for a classic Gillder style 36 figure unit. The base you see is 45 x 60 and will contain another 3 figs in front, those of you unfamiliar with Yarkshire Gamer might notice the extended depth on the bases, this is to protect the muskets on the figures.
I will mix in more campaign style figures in later units and maybe a few greatcoat, I also like my friends Steve Shanns idea doing 32 figure French units (moving away from Gilders company based structure) and I might consider something similar later in the Project.
Anyway 33 more to do and then I'll definitely do some Crusades stuff 😄
