The second quarter Final sees old favourites Ribet Counters 😉 who obsess about the slightest detail on a 72 foot table against those who just can't be bothered to paint their figures are turn up in a mix of grey plastic and metal.

Rules Lawyers love to bend the rules to make sure they win, whilst an Overly Competitive Wargamers will jump on the table and scream "Loser" in your face when they win, neither are nice but which one is worse.

As explained to you before this is a Public Vote and the ones with the highest votes get through. Your favourite show failed to register a single vote in the Preliminary Round which was over a month ago now, do keep up 😁

DeleteSalute is Marmite with a lot of people. Personally I think it’s an overrated mess of a show in an awful venue. It should be on your list and probably would score high with people in the south east. Martin

It hasn't scored highly because NO ONE nominated it and NO ONE voted for it 🤣 it's as simple as that, not sure how many times I can explain it to the Anonymous family, maybe you could talk to each other at Sunday Dinner 😆 We are coming up on 15,000 votes so far so the one of you and your 15 burner accounts might struggle 👍

DeleteNot sure what is going on here with this blog. I tend to side with the not so anonymous comments as above. I do not think I will be reading this blog or any of the dross it attracts again. I do not think the so called voting is fair. The blogs author seems to have had a raw nerve poked, possibly does not like the truth being put out there? Who knows?
DeletePersonally I have not been to Salute for years. It was absolutely a bl**dy awful experience last time I attended. Winning an award at the show really anything to crow about. It was possibly just your turn. It seems to be the way of things.
I think a lot of the comments are anonymous because sometimes it’s hard to log into Google. For me today that’s certainly the case.

I have no idea what you are on about either, I have made no mention whatsoever of a Salute Award in this post. Other Anonymous posters have mentioned it not me.
DeleteHow is the voting not fair ? All my favourite "Pet Hates" have been knocked out, just like yours, that's how first past the post voting works.
You and those who identify as Anonymous don't like Salute, fine, perfectly valid point, the short comings and Positives of the show are something I've discussed elsewhere in great depth.
There's no "raw nerve" touched here at all, just a group of people who don't seem to understand how the voting goes has worked and want to turn that into a personal attack.
And as for it being my turn, I've only put 2 displays on there over the years, but then you didn't go so wouldn't know.
It's a real shame the Anonymous family are stepping away from the blog, it's been emosh 😁
