We also allow a Reactionary token per side that allows a team to reactivate a unit each turn. Reactions are overwatch fire or a 4" dash. Each turn we also have events, like bad weather or EW jamming, minefield, SEAD, etc. It certainly gives life to the game.badmojo1966https://www.blogger.com/profile/01136529887907871721noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1039901276449290352.post-75010691899990559332021-11-12T15:23:36.982-08:002021-11-12T15:23:36.982-08:00They do look like a good set of rules and would be...They do look like a good set of rules and would be an option if we can't get TY to work for us πYarkshire Gamerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02187334713976374889noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1039901276449290352.post-67854701838750673062021-11-12T14:24:56.705-08:002021-11-12T14:24:56.705-08:00Mate and I had a go at 7DTTRR, and it set me furio...Mate and I had a go at 7DTTRR, and it set me furiously printing Soviet and BAOR armour to add to my Danes. We use Fow for WW2 but play it with proper OOB and big scenarios and it delivers a reasonable big multi player game . Course, when we went to Team Yankee initially we tried 6mm (and I've some 3mm), both of which worked well. Again, we don't use points, but more scenario games. I can see...'Tema Yarkee' made me smile Ken! I can see no problem with your tweaks to the rules as the most important thing is that they work for you, which really is all that matters. One of the issues with 'modern' games is the sheer range that AFV's etc can shoot out to, which in reality would be right across most games tables using the nominal ground scales. Even in CWC, which I enjoyed, this could be an issue but West German terrain and limited line of sight helped off set this.

I agree that keeping things simple at the start is good and then build up adding in new 'toys' as you get au fait with the rules. The card activation system is a tried and tested format and good to see it getting an outing.Steve J.https://www.blogger.com/profile/12143308117853983963noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1039901276449290352.post-74120203118876820472021-11-10T12:26:08.788-08:002021-11-10T12:26:08.788-08:00Great looking collection you have now.
